Sold – 1993 FZJ80

WOC2015-903

To many, the FZJ80 is the pinnacle of Toyota offroad engineering.  Heavily overbuilt in almost every way, the FZJ80 sets the standard for reliability and capability, with many rigs exceeding 300k miles without any major work.  With Toyota’s equivalent of 1-ton axles, locking differentials, a locking transfer case, and a 4.5l straight 6 engine, there are very few places this rig can’t go.  Combining all that with its current 35″ Toyo M/T tires and a stout winch, it is virtually unstoppable for use as an overland rig.  Having the interior comfort and room of a $50k luxury SUV with doesn’t hurt either and makes a long trip much more bearable than if you were driving  most other vehicles.  All in all, the perfect rig for the needs of most any “overlander”.
